Christmas Dance Brings Smiles and Holiday Cheer to Allies Residents

Allies kicked off the holiday season with a Christmas Dance for the individuals that we serve on December 8th. The dance was held at the Nottingham Ballroom in Hamilton, NJ and a fantastic time was had by all. Over 100 people from our programs attended the event, which featured a dinner, a DJ spinning the latest tunes (including holiday favorites), dancing, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. We also featured a “Best Christmas Sweater Contest” with movie tickets as the prize.

Michael Haggerty, President and CEO of Allies, Inc., remarked, “It was so heart-warming to see all of our individuals together and enjoying themselves after not being able to connect over the last 18 months. Everyone had an amazing time and is still talking about the fun night that they had.”

We’d like to thank staff who helped plan the event, as well as those who drove our individuals, and provided support during the dance. We’re also very grateful to St. Mary’s Parish in Barnegat, NJ, and Willows Program Manager, Lyndzi Biester, for donating beautiful plush animals to give out as gifts.
