At Allies, we’re dedicated to supporting youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) so that they may achieve their highest level of independence.
In addition to providing specialized housing, day habilitation, vocational training and job placement, and physical and behavioral health services, we are always looking for ways in which we can further enhance the quality of life for those we serve.
Throughout each year, Allies, Inc. works tirelessly to provide unique experiences and opportunities for social interaction, community engagement, and the development of individual special interests including hobbies, learning new recreational activities, and other fulfilling accomplishments.
Some of the exciting events and activities Allies sponsors each year include:
- Catered, seasonal dinner dances that allow our individuals to get together for a night of great food and dancing with friends.
- Regular social group meetings where dinner is served and individuals can update their friends about their recent life happenings, discuss with friends and staff any challenges they may be struggling with, and learn problem-solving and self-advocacy strategies.
- Throughout the year Allies supports individuals in special interest events and activities including; amusement parks, sporting events, trips to the beach, etc.
Donations will help Allies to continue hosting special events and celebrations, as well as support their participation at special community events and activities to ensure each individual we serve is afforded to opportunity to experience a fulfilling life.
