The most wonderful time of the year is almost here, and Allies is excited beyond measure to bring back Share the Joy to help make the season bright!
For many years, Allies has administered a gift-giving program to make sure that everyone supported in an Allies residential program wakes up to a special gift on Christmas morning. Throughout New Jersey, Allies supports more than 350 people in residential programs. We need your help to make sure everyone wakes up to a special surprise on Christmas!
Planning for this year’s initiative is already underway! Allies staff members are working to collect gift ideas from those we support. Once the list is complete, it will be published on Allies’ signupgenius.com account. The official kickoff for the event is Friday, Nov. 1. Please check back on Allies’ social media channels and website then to see how you can make someone’s holiday just a little brighter.
“Share the Joy gives us the opportunity to really make sure the people we support have a very nice, meaningful holiday,” Loretta Rarrick, director of community outreach at Allies, said. “Each year, it is inspiring to see how the community comes together to make Share the Joy a reality. Thank you to everyone who is able to participate this year.”
The timeline for this year’s Share the Joy festivities follows:
November 1, 2024: Share The Joy is live! Check out the link and call dibs on the gift(s) you would like to buy.
December 6, 2024: Sign ups close. Make sure you sign up to participate before this date!
December 13, 2024: All gifts must be wrapped, properly identified, and dropped off at the Allies main office. The address is: 1262 Whitehorse Hamilton Square Road, in Hamilton, New Jersey.
