Ron Ness, Chief Administrative Officer

Ron is responsible for Fleet, Facilities, Quality Assurance, New Development and IT, while also managing daily challenges and operations. He views proactive teamwork and communication as keys to the success of Allies, Inc.

At the age of 21, Ron began working in the vacation industry on cruise lines. For the 32 years that followed at sea, he “wore many lifejackets” within the areas of Culinary, Beverage, Housekeeping, Financial, Marketing, Revenue, Entertainment; and most importantly Guest Experience.

During his time onboard, Ron was part of many collaborations, one being with Porsche Consulting Group. He worked closely with the cruise lines and Porsche to finetune logistics and develop a perfect cruise experience with unsurpassed comfort for passengers. Behind the scenes, Porsche Consulting, the cruise line and Ron worked together to streamline the daily shipboard processes. His positive, proactive personality and attention to detail drove his team to success.

Ron is creative and hands-on. At a young age he learned how to repair, rebuild and restore automobiles. Working with his hands keeps him at peace and relaxed. Ron is originally from Seattle, Washington and is married with two beautiful children. He comes from a long line of seamen from Norway and Sweden, and his grandfather worked in the fishing industry from Seattle to Alaska. His father taught him: “if you’re going to do something, do it right the first time.”
