img_2757With an expansive resume, Allies is extremely honored that Don has chosen Allies as the place to call home. Don began his career with PSE&G in 1971 and has over 38 years of service with a diverse background in Management and Public Affairs. His experience supporting PSE&G’s lines of business as a liaison for municipal, governmental, educational, religious, business, law enforcement, community and civic leaders provides tremendous benefit to Allies and its mission to empower people with special needs in New Jersey. After serving in the military, Don attended Saint Peter’s College graduating with a BA in Business Management in 1976.

Don is the recipient of numerous awards including the Commendation Medal presented by the Governor and the Adjutant General, ESGR Military Seven Seals Award from the Department of Defense, Man of The Year Award-Hamilton Area YMCA and Black History Month Community Service Award, National register’s Who’s Who In the United States, Community Chairman’s Award presented by Neighborhood Housing Services of Trenton, Community Award, presented by the Boys Town of Italy, Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce Community Leaders of Distinction Award, Lifetime Achievement Award from ESGR, Community Service Award, presented by the Trenton African-American Chamber of Commerce, the Humanitarian Award from the American Heart Association, first recipient of the NJBIZ ICON award and has been installed in the National Italian-American Hall of Fame. He is a Past President of the Saddle Brook Rotary and recipient of The Paul Harris Award.”

Don holds board positions throughout New Jersey including Vineland Developmental Center, the State of New Jersey Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve, Office of Department of Defense, Middlesex County Chiefs of Police, New Jersey State Police Memorial Association, the Honor Legion of Police Departments of New Jersey and New Jersey State PBA.
