Last weekend, Allies celebrated its 25th anniversary with a picnic at Liberty Lakes in Bordentown. The festive event was enjoyed by over 430 members of the Allies family including the recipients of Allies residential, habilitation and vocational services as well as the exceptional staff who support people throughout New Jersey.
Since Allies was founded in 1999, the organization has expanded its community-based services, spanning 19 counties, to include more than 150 programs meeting the complex support needs of more than 550 people in a variety of specially designed programs.
“The picnic was a great way for the Allies friends and family to thoughtfully celebrate 25 years of mission driven services, while looking forward to the exciting opportunities ahead” Mike Haggerty, president and CEO of Allies, said.
Throughout the afternoon, attendees puttered around the lake in paddle boats, climbed a rock wall, danced along with the DJ, played mini golf, and enjoyed celebrating their accomplishments made possible with the support of Allies.
