The 2026 Run for the Woods System of Care Reached Fundraising Goal

The Run for the Woods System of Care, an annual event held in Langhorne at the Woods Services campus, achieved its fundraising goal of raising more than $350,000.

In its 11th year, the run attracted hundreds of runners and walkers for fun festivities set against a backdrop of a gorgeous spring June morning.

This year, Allies participated in the event with more than 10 staff and 20 individuals supported by Allies.

“Allies was honored to participate in the 2026 Run for the Woods System of Care,” Erich Martin, Director of Communications, said. “Each year, it is amazing to see how the community comes together in unity to support the awesome work being done across the Woods System of Care.”

The run represents more than just a fun day and some exercise. In addition to the members of the Woods System of Care who supported the event, the event was also attended by the Philadelphia Eagles drumline and Swoop, Representative Brian Fitzpatrick, who represents Bucks County in the House of Representatives, and other community leaders.
