Allies, Inc. is proud to be a participant in the 12th annual Run for the Woods System of Care, scheduled for Sunday, June 7, 2026.
The annual fundraiser brings together hundreds of Woods System of Care affiliation members and community stakeholders to raise money for the Woods System of Care. In the first 11 years, the Run for the Woods System of Care raised more than $2 million.
This year, the system hopes to raise more than $300,000.
“For 12 years, the Run for Woods has been an award-winning community favorite, raising more than $350,000 annually to support individuals with disabilities and enhance quality of life,” Diana Martinelli, Senior Director of Community Engagement and Marketing at the Woods System of Care, said. “With nearly 1,000 runners, walkers, and rollers coming together each year, the event is packed with fun, entertainment, delicious treats, and unforgettable memories; For me, it’s truly my passion in motion!”
“Over these past 12 years, this event has raised the funds needed to enhance programs and services that support individuals with complex needs throughout the affiliate organizations that make up the Woods System of Care,” Mike Haggerty, President of Allies, Inc., said. “Team Allies is proud to support this exceptional cause.”
In addition to the 5k run, attendees can participate in a 5k walk, or a 1-mile family fun walk.
Day-of registration begins at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday June 7, 2026. If you would like to register early and join the Allies team, simply go to www.runforwoods.org and click the purple “Register” button. You can join the Allies team by searching for “Team Allies,” after signing up.
Participants in the run should meet at 40 Martin Gross Drive, Langhorne, PA 19047. In order to maintain safety for all participants, the road will be closed beginning at 8:30 a.m. There will be no late admissions allowed.
