Allies’ Day Habilitation programs in Hamilton and Mt. Holly celebrated the end of summer with a field day full of fun games and good food.
The field day was held at Laurel Acres Park in Mt. Laurel Township. Thirty-one individuals from Allies’ day programs participated in activities including structured games, a barbecue lunch, free play and socialization. There was also a photo booth for attendees to create souvenirs from.
Currently, Allies Day Habilitation leadership are planning to make the field day an annual celebration of the end of summer, and plans are already underway to make next year’s event a success.
“It was a super successful day, and we are already planning our next event,” Jaime White, Director of Day Habilitation Services at Allies, said.
