Allies Celebrates Nurses Week 2025

Allies is celebrating Nurses Week 2025 with a week of events and special surprises for every nurse at the agency.

“We want to extend our sincerest thanks to all of you for doing a great job and making what we do possible,” Anil Singh, VP of residential services, told nurses at a May 8 gathering and celebration of nurses.

The entire week has been filled with little surprises to let Allies nurses know how much they are appreciated. Nurses received journals to help nurses visualize and achieve their goals, sweatshirts, and a luncheon to celebrate Allies’ 2025 Nurse of the Year.

“This is an elite group, and we are so fortunate to have the level of care and compassion that this team allows us to provide,” Dawn King, VP of integrated health services, told the assembled nurses.

The recipient of the 2025 Allies Nurse of the Year award is Babatunde “Baba” Ayoade, LPN. Ayoade has worked with Allies for 7 years. While being nominated for the award, Ayoade was described as “respectful, compassionate, helpful, and patient.”

“What makes me happy and encouraged to come into work is the individuals I get to support,” Ayoade said. “I just want to thank everybody. Receiving this award inspires me to continue coming to work and doing the best I possibly can.”

“Words cannot properly express how much we appreciate all of you,” Phil Monetti, COO, said.

“We are very fortunate to have such a strong, competent, and compassionate nursing team,” Mike Haggerty, CEO, said.
