Allies welcomes Kiara Lanns, front desk clerk

In January, Allies welcomed a new front desk clerk at the main office in Hamilton. Please join us in welcoming Kiara Lanns to the Allies team!

Prior to joining Allies, Kiara worked as a Spanish language interpreter at Virtua Health in the Pediatric Rehab Early Intervention Program. In that role, Kiara worked to bridge the language gap between families and providers, ensuring that children with developmental delays could receive the needed therapies.

“My time at Allies so far has been very welcoming and positive,” Kiara said. “I’ve felt supported by the team and appreciate the inclusive, caring environment.”

“I think the work Allies does is incredibly impactful, and I’m excited to be part of a team that helps people with disabilities,” Kiara said. “It’s rewarding to be in a position where I can contribute even slightly to making a positive difference in people’s lives.”

Before working with Virtual Health, Kiara worked as a teacher’s assistant, providing care to children in a daycare setting.

When she isn’t at work, Kiara volunteers as a bible teacher in the Spanish-speaking community and enjoys hanging out with loved ones at craft and game nights.

“Although I’m still learning the ropes, if you need help, I’ll do my best,” Kiara said. “In the worst case, we will figure it out together!”

Please join us in welcoming Kiara!
