Allies Announces Appointment of Two New VPs of Residential Services

HAMILTON, Dec. 18, 2023 – Allies, Inc., a leading provider of services for people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in New Jersey, announced today the appointment of two new vice presidents of residential services as part of its long-standing commitment to support and empower people with IDD.

Shynaqua Jarvis and Shane Chin-Hing have been promoted, joining Anil Singh as VPs of Residential Services.

The promotions are in line with Allies’ commitment to promote, support, and empower staff as they work to help support members of their community to achieve their greatest potential independence.

“This promotion means a great deal to me, as it has always been my passion to serve in a capacity where I effect positive change in the IDD population,” Chin-Hing said. “Being appointed vice president of residential services brings me closer to that vision.”

“Promotion is growth, achievement, and change,” Jarvis said. “The promotions ensure that staff and our individuals will continue to be supported at the highest level throughout New Jersey.”

“As Allies continues to expand our programs and services, as well as broaden our footprint throughout the state, it became necessary to reassess the residential management structure to ensure the necessary administrative oversight was in place to support our dedicated Community Support Staff,” Michael Haggerty, CEO, Allies, Inc., said. “These changes became effective on December 1, and I am confident that with the leadership demonstrated by our new VPs, Allies will continue to provide the highest quality supports and services to help those we serve achieve their personal goals towards greater independence and a fulfilling life.”

“Allies’ leadership’s vision is to support the agency’s leaders as much as possible, hold them accountable, and operate programs more efficiently and effectively,” Singh said. “The new model provides improved vision, planning, and strategies, as well as specific goals and objectives to leaders and employees.”
